Who Are We?
Founded by one medical student and one finance student that happened to be siblings, GUGU is our arena to express day to day college life through our double meaning, hand-drawn and creative designs.
The Name
Intaily, our brand was not named GUGU, it was ‘La Merch’, forgetting the fact that this name means ‘the Merch’ which did not represent us as we wished. So, on a random setting, while booking a flight ticket for our parents, our last name ‘Agag’ appeared like a diamond in the sky. Since our last name “Agag” isn’t there on our passports, we wanted to maintain the legacy of that name, but in our way…
We found our treasure..
After tweaking it a little bit, we came out with GUGU, representing our generation and generations to come from this family.
